From next year, your identity card and driving license will also be in your mobile phone

A fully digital identity card should be available via the MyGov.be app during the course of next year. At least that is the ambition of Minister of Government Modernization Vanessa Matz (Les Engagés). It will have the same value as the classic card, but can therefore be used both online and offline.
