Evening Lights Sweet Earth
Saturday, December 13 is the traditional Lichtjesavond at Zoete Aarde in De Leyens. The community garden is then immersed in Christmas atmosphere. Read: lights, a market, musical performances, a puppet theater, stew, marshmallows, mulled wine, poffertjes, oliebollen… and so on. Evening of Lights is on Saturday, December 13 from 4:30 PM to 7:30 PM.

Parade of lights
On Friday, December 12, Oosterheem Shopping Center will undergo a fairytale transformation. The shopkeepers organize a light parade, followed by a laser show. Not only Santa Claus comes by on his sleigh, but also various characters from Disney! The parade starts around 6:30 PM and when you return to Oosterheemplein you can have your picture taken with the characters. The laser show at the Heemkanaal ends the evening. Also nice: the little ones get a Santa hat with lights!
