Good shooting results
In addition to the Swiss Häcki-Groß and Lea Meier, Vanessa Voigt with the number 22 is now on the track. At the shooting range, Maya Cloetens from Belgium made no mistakes, but shot slowly. To the delight of the fans, the Swede Johanna Skottheim also hits everything.

1. Shooting A. Gandler (AUT) & L. Vittozzi (ITA)
16:08
Gandler opens shooting
The wind conditions are significantly calmer than in the individual and Gandler benefits from this. She shoots quickly and without mistakes, Vittozzi has to take a round.
16:07
Hettich-Walz on the move
And then it applies to Janina Hettich-Walz, who is now going on the track! The wind has changed a little compared to when you were shooting, so you have to be careful at the shooting range.
16:04
Bened started
Frenchwoman Camille Bened is already a co-favorite with start number eight. Can she climb onto the podium again? Meanwhile, Anna Gandler is past the first intermediate time, Vittozzi is 3.5 seconds faster there.
4:00 p.m
Start of the race
4:00 p.m
It’s starting!
Anna Gandler from Austria is allowed to open the sprint, with Lisa Vittozzi starting immediately 30 seconds behind her. Janina Hettich-Walz, with start number 15, is the first German to take to the track.
3:55 p.m
What’s going on for the Austrians?
With three errors, Anna Gandler ended up in 19th place in the individual, making her the best Austrian, closely followed by Dunja Zdouc in 21st place. Gandler will open the race with start number one. The figurehead, Lisa Theresa Hauser, had a bad day with six mistakes. She came in 52nd place behind Selina Grotian and wants to do better today. Anna Juppe and Anna Andexer are starting the race with numbers 61 and 84.
3:49 p.m
Baserga with a great start to the season
Amy Baserga had a great start to the individual races. With two mistakes, the Swiss came in a strong seventh place and was also fast on the cross-country ski trail. Together with Lena Häcki-Groß, she is the best hope for Switzerland, because her teammates Lea Meier, Aita Gasparin, Lydia Mettler and Susanna Meinen are not as strong.
3:45 p.m
Dorothea Wierer in top form?
The Italian Dorothea Wierer, who had a lot of problems last season, has been in good form so far and also won the individual – but very narrowly ahead of the Finn Sonja Leinamo, who caused a huge surprise with her first ever podium finish. The French are certainly among the favorites for today; Camille Bened and Lou Jeanmonnot landed in third and fourth place on Tuesday. Meanwhile, the home crowd will be hoping for a Swedish podium finish, and with the Öberg sisters they also have two good chances. So it will be exciting!
3:38 p.m
Chance for compensation – but without Preuss
Things weren’t really going well for the German biathletes in the individual. In general, the result was disappointing: Even though the wind wasn’t easy, there were simply far too many mistakes on the shooting range. No athlete made it into the top 15, Janina Hettich-Walz was the best German in 17th place with four errors. The overall World Cup winner Franziska Preuß also struggled with her running performance, she only finished 29th. Things should go better in the sprint today, alongside Hettich-Walz, Vanessa Voigt, Julia Tannheimer, Selina Grotian, Marlene Fichtner and Anna Weidel are also at the start. Franziska Preuß is out for the weekend due to illness with a sore throat.
3:30 p.m
