Frans Bauer has no intention of buying houses for his children, just like Linda de Mol. His most famous son, Christiaan (24), still lives at home. “I’m saving.”
One nepobaby is spoiled more than the other nepobaby. Julian Vahle and Noa Vahle received very expensive homes as a gift from their mother Linda de Mol, but not every celebrity child can count on that. While the Mol descendants immediately settled on the Amsterdam canal belt, Frans Bauer’s offspring still live at home.
Christiaan saves
Christiaan Bauer, who fervently hopes to follow in his father’s footsteps, also still lives at home. He doesn’t want to leave the parental nest either. “I’m mainly saving now. And a house… Well, the housing market isn’t ready for that yet, so I’ll wait another year or two I think,” he says in the Weekend.
Does it make him sad that it is not possible for him to find his own place? “I’m only 24. I’m still quite happy at home.”
Multimillionaire
When Weekend confronts him with the fact that his father is a multi-millionaire, he responds quickly: “Yes, hello, but not me.”
The idea that father Frans would just buy him a house is absurd, according to Christiaan. “You have to tell him, don’t you! Do you think he will do that? No, I would rather live at home. It costs me even less. He doesn’t have to buy a house. It’s all good.”
