Ghent makes parking considerably more expensive: city center car parks up to twice as pricey and abolition of free parking on Sundays and public holidays

It was already known that the city would increase the rates for the city center car parks, but now the concrete amounts are also on the table, and they are not lenient. At the same time, street parking is also becoming more expensive and free parking on Sundays and public holidays will disappear. Together, these measures should yield the city 5.3 million euros.
