Chemistry teacher Arjan Linthorst from Meppel has been concerned about the quality of education in the Netherlands for years. He regularly writes letters to the newspaper Trouw, de Volkskrant and NRC. He has also sat at the table with members of the House of Representatives to discuss the financing of education and high financial reserves of school boards in primary and secondary education. And he recently sent an email to party leaders Rob Jetten and Henri Bontenbal of the forming parties D66 and CDA.
