The director tells the story of Holly, who at 28 thinks her life has gone in the wrong direction. When she meets a little girl, Arabella, she thinks she is herself as a child and is convinced she can change her past.

The director said: “In reality the desire to go back is actually the opposite, a desire to move forward, that’s it”, while Porcaroli joked: “We understood that in theory this is how it’s done, you resolve things, accept them and move forward, the opposite doesn’t work so well”.

Benedetta Porcaroli talks about her character: «I’m made of rubber like her»

With surreal language, irony and a lot of tenderness Cavalli recounts a passage in the life of a young woman, in which Porcaroli somehow recognizes himself. “I feel very different from her but I find myself a bit in this little game of appearing tough instead of being rubber. In fact when I get angry, I get very angry, explosively, but it lasts 25 seconds and a moment later it’s all over” she confessed.

When asked if it is so common among young girls like them to already take stock, the director and actress reply: “The fact that we are bombarded by other possibilities, always constant, that the more we buy, the more we can have a bigger life, a better life. This has to do with the fact that we say: but will I be in the right place at the right time?” said Cavalli, while Porcaroli concluded: “I believe that there is also a bad relationship with the idea of failure, which forces you to make the above-mentioned assessments”.
