The case surrounding the Tienen gynecologist GD (65) is rapidly growing into possibly one of the biggest medical scandals in the country. There have now been 207 complaints to the hotline, three criminal complaints and an ongoing public prosecutor’s office investigation. Yet everything remained under the radar for years: how is that possible? According to Lisa*, who filed a complaint in 2022 and has it in black and white that he admitted the facts, the answer is painfully clear. “I already knew then that there had to be more victims,” she testifies.
