The victim told police that the man asked her all kinds of questions, ‘until his colleague’ showed up at the door. According to the Public Prosecution Service, the same underage girl then stood on the sidewalk and took jewelry and the bank card. Loot: 3,150 euros.
The real police took action and were able to arrest the couple in Wassenaar. Jewelry and a few thousand euros were then found in their car.
The 21-year-old Rotterdam was sentenced today to prison and community service. He has already been in prison for a while, so he doesn’t have to go back to prison.
The perpetrator expressed regret to the eldest victim and she in turn accepted the apology, the Public Prosecution Service said.
The minor girl will have to answer to the juvenile court later.
