The rumors about a winter departure from FC Bayern are gaining momentum.
According to “Bild”, the German record champions are negotiating a move for full-back Sacha Boey with Crystal Palace from the English Premier League in January.
Accordingly, FC Bayern is said to have signaled to the London club that it would be willing to talk if there was a satisfactory offer.
Belgian transfer journalist Sacha Tavolieri from the Swiss “Sky” branch also reports on a Palace offer for Boey. Accordingly, Bayern’s sports director Christoph Freund is said to be in contact with team manager Oliver Glasner. Both know each other from their time together at Red Bull Salzburg.
It is unknown how much Crystal Palace have offered for Boey so far. However, FC Bayern is almost certainly in danger of losing business.

Because: At the beginning of 2024, the Munich team transferred a whopping 30 million euros to Boey’s former club Galatasaray – a sum that, after his manageable performance in the FC Bayern jersey, he is unlikely to bring in anywhere near today. FC Bayern hopes for three “winter transfers”
FC Bayern is unlikely to see any changes on the access side in the winter.
“We have basically learned in football never to rule anything out 100 percent, but it is not planned because we are well positioned,” Freund recently said on “Sky”.
The 48-year-old Austrian emphasized that with the long-term injuries Hiroki Ito, Alphonso Davies and Jamal Musiala, FC Bayern expects “very important players” to return. “Hopefully these will be our winter transfers and then we will be very, very well positioned.”
