Athletes from Aydin made us proud by achieving three Turkish championships, two Turkish records and a total of seven degrees in the Turkish Mountaineering Federation Turkey Cup.
Athletes from Aydin made us proud with the results they achieved in the Turkish Cup competitions organized by the Turkish Mountaineering Federation. While Turkish championships, second and third places were won in different categories, the Turkish records broken in two separate branches once again demonstrated the importance of success. In the competitions, Zehra Berra Korkut came first in the Junior Women’s category, Beren Avcı in the Star Women’s category, and Zahire Tuba Günay in the Junior Women’s category. Additionally, Beren Avcı achieved double success by breaking the Turkish record in the Star Women category.
Enes Cistak, who came second in Türkiye in the Junior Men’s category, also attracted attention with his performance and broke the Turkish record in his category. In the Star Women category, Gülsüm Erciyes came second in Türkiye and Defne İdil Tuğyan came third in Türkiye, thus consolidating Aydın’s success on the podium.
Aydın Youth and Sports Provincial Directorate congratulated the athletes for their success and stated that they will continue to support their work.
