TO just over two months since the start of Sanremo 2026, the names of the 30 Big names competing were revealed today: that is, the entire cast of the festival. Advertiser, the host and artistic director Carlo Conti, during the usual appointment with the Tg1 at 1.30pm. The 75th edition of the Italian Song Festival will be staged from Tuesday 24 to Saturday 28 February, postponed to the end of the month to make room for the Olympics.
The only two Sanremo veterans present in the cast are Patty Pravo (at this point competing 11 times) and Raf (4 times by 2026). Then the couple stands out Fedez and Marco Masini (already in Sanremo for last year’s duet evening with Nice Bitch by Masini), the return of Arisa in the event with which it exploded, and the first time at the festival of Thomas Paradise. As well as the second time on the Riviera Serena Brancale – his song of 2025, Anema and Corewas one of the most played of the summer.
We also see it again among the Bigs Toe in the sorecompeting in 2022 with Rettore, then Dargen D’Amico, Michele Bravi, Elettra Lamborghini and Levante (all seen in competition in recent years). Finally, a series of names that will certainly mean little to the general public, but, says Conti, with very interesting pieces. It’s about Ragdolls, Sayf, Eddie Brock, Mariantonietta and Colombre, LDA and Aka7 and Samurai Jay. Who knows if the winner of Sanremo 2026 isn’t hiding among them, someone capable of starting a career worthy of the greats who have passed through the festival.
