The bronze went to the United States.

It was the second victory in a row for the Netherlands in the World Tour. Last weekend, the formation of national coach Niels Kerstholt, which then consisted of the same four short track speed skaters, was the best in Gdansk in Poland.

The Dutch women had finished second and fourth in the two previous World Tour matches this season.

In the men’s section, the Dutch team qualified convincingly for Sunday’s final. Jens van ‘t Wout, Melle van ‘t Wout, Teun Boer and Friso Emons finished first in their semi-final. Hungary came second and therefore also advanced to the final battle. From the other semi-final, China and Italy qualified for the final.

Last weekend the Dutch team was disqualified in the relay final in Gdansk.
