YouTube hero Marcel Vos, known worldwide as the great in RollerCoaster Tycoon, has exchanged his computer for the outdoors. In nine months he cycled through all the streets of Meppel.
With this, the Meppel YouTuber gives a surprising sequel to his life behind the screen.
Marcel Vos is a household name on YouTube. His explainer videos about the nostalgic RollerCoaster Tycoon are viewed millions of times and he is known as the undisputed master of the game.
But anyone who only knows that world would almost forget that Marcel spends many hours behind his computer. That was exactly what prompted him to take action.
Instead of just cycling around in circles, Marcel decided to make a study of it. Just as he scrutinizes his virtual roller coasters down to the pixel, he also tackled this project thoroughly.
In nine months he worked through the entire municipality of Meppel street by street, without skipping anything. On November 14, he pedaled down the very last street, completing his mission.
His mission is reminiscent of the journey of the mayor of Assen. who previously walked all the streets of his own municipality with his dog. But while that was mainly a symbolic walk, Marcel made his own version of it: by bike, with a strict plan and a good dose of perseverance.
