The study included the participation of 393 entrepreneurs (CEOs, General Managers and business owners from Argentina).

This survey reflects a moderation in sentiment compared to the previous quarter but it is important that we look at the bigger picture. Asked about how the Argentine economy behaved in the last year, 25% of businessmen think that the scenario improved, while 50% estimate that it worsened and 25% that it remained unchanged. Furthermore, for the next twelve months, 45% of business owners estimate that the economic situation will improve; 33% indicate that there will be no changes; and 22%, that it will get worse.

Regarding the projections for their companies in the next 12 months, 51% trust that the volume of units sold will increase; 34% emphasize that it will be maintained; and 15%, which will decrease. Meanwhile, regarding profitability, 40% of business leaders state that it will decrease; 36% assess that there will be no changes; and the remaining 24% indicate that profitability will increase.

Regarding investment in fixed assets, 54% indicate that it will remain unchanged; 29% believe it will increase; and the remaining 18% believe that it will decrease. And regarding billing, 52% estimate that it will increase; 36% indicate that it will be maintained; and 12% that will decrease.

He price behavior of products/services was another point consulted in the Business Confidence Index. 48% of business owners affirm that they will remain the same for the next 12 months. For 35%, prices will increase; and for 17%, they will decrease.

And regarding the employee workforce, 52% say that it will remain the same; 30% estimate that it will increase; and 18% respond that it may be less than the current one.

On the other hand, regarding the most important business problem that companies face today, 37% of entrepreneurs consider it to be economic uncertainty (concerns about the local or international economy, public finances, etc.). Financial issues (financing, cash flow, profitability) are next in importance with 21%, and the highest costs (energy, raw materials, salaries, etc.) with 18%. Other problems mentioned are growth (too slow or too fast) at 10% and staff (find, hire, retain, train) at 9%..

Finally, businesspeople estimate that annual inflation in 2025 will be 41% (9 percentage points more than what they anticipated in the previous Business Confidence Index) and affirm that the exchange rate will be $1,620 per dollar (official) as of December 31, 2025 (130 pesos more than what is stipulated in the Q2 Index).

The Vistage Confidence Index was born in the United States in the first quarter of 2003 and in Argentina it began to be carried out in 2006.
