Radio host Mari Valosaari tells Ilta-Sanom about big changes in their lives. One big change is the separation from a year-long relationship that took place in November. Around the same time, he quit his job at Radio Nova.
However, surprising things happened already a year and a half ago, when Valosaari applied for hospital examinations due to severe stomach pains. The ultrasound images revealed that she has a myoma, i.e. a tumor of the uterine muscle. It was not operated on immediately, but this week the doctor suggested a hysterectomy.
– This marks the end of a significant phase in my life. I had already decided that I would not have children, but now an outside party made the decision that I would never have them again. It feels really sad, Valosaari told Ilta-Sanom.
Mari Valosaari has two children, Mila12, and Mio9 together singer-fireman Jontte Valosaarin with. They were married from 2013 to 2019.
Valosaari said in September that he would stop working at Radio Nova because of his values. He said he wanted to be more with his own children.
– My world of values forces me to choose evenings at home. I love doing radio, but I love my children more, she wrote on Instagram.
He has worked at the channel for almost six years and hosted his own program for almost four years. The decision to quit was difficult for Valosaari.
In addition to his radio work, Valosaari is also remembered for television programs such as Special forces and Fitness diaries.
