Monique Hansler, the infamous mother-in-law from Winter Vol Liefde who now has her own SBS 6 soap, would like to take part in Today Inside. “What do you say? Should we do that or not?”
It is currently the nastiest reality character on television: Monique Hansler. She becomes like mother-in-law from hell even more hated than Peter Gillis, and that’s saying something. Johan Derksen also thinks he is a terrible person and he has made this clear several times at the table at Today Inside. And Monique also received that.
Monique in VI?
Monique would like to convince the men of VI that she is a nice person, and would therefore like to join them. “That mother – they also call her bastard – that Monique, would like to come to the table. What do you say? Should we do that or not?” says Wilfred Genee in the talk show on SBS 6.
Johan Derksen then: “Well, I have nothing against that person, I think he’s a horrible person. He’s the worst mother-in-law I’ve ever seen. Then that idiot will come along too, won’t he?”
Behind the bar
The VI mustache refers to Mike Hansler, Monique’s docile son. “Yes, he will go behind the bar,” calls Wilfred.
Table guest Goedele Liekens: “Take it with you to Curaçao for a whole week!”
Can she stay in Johan’s room? He says, “Would Monique swallow it, or ehh?”
Bar guest Raymond Mens: “You can find out! If you invite her!”
More naughty
Wilfred thinks Johan’s joke is going a bit far. “You’re 76, but you’re getting naughtier!”
Johan: “With my mouth, yes.”
It is not known whether we will eventually see Monique join VI. In any case, the confrontation with her critics would yield high viewing figures, and that would benefit all parties…
