The staircase of Ateneum came alive when an unprecedented gala show brought high fashion to the heart of Helsinki’s favorite museum.
The first Ateneum Gala 2025 party fashion show was organized on Thursday at the national museum Ateneum in the center of Helsinki. Admission to the event was free and it was organized twice: first at 2 p.m. and then at 4:30 p.m.
A total of 30 models walked down the spectacular main staircase of the museum, wearing impressive outfits by 30 different Finnish designers.
This spectacle was a true star moment of Finnish fashion, when the new Ateneum gala brought domestic fashion into the limelight. The show featured outfits from well-known Finnish fashion designers, such as Katri Niskas, Anne-Mari from Pahkalafrom Mert Otsamo, Teemu Muurimäki and From Rolf Ekroth.
The artistic director of the show was a stylist Mint Vesalawho was naturally also responsible for the styling of the show. He was responsible for the hair Miika Kemppainen with the team and make-up Jenny Jansson with teams.
The costumes seen in the show are on display in connection with Ateneum’s ongoing Gallen-Kallela, Klimt & Wien art exhibition until the end of the exhibition on February 1, 2026 in three different parts.
