A 35-year-old Ossen resident is suspected of involvement in the death of a man in a healthcare institution in Deurne. The man died on November 12 and the Ossen resident was arrested three days later, the police announced on Wednesday.
The 79-year-old resident of Deurne stayed in the care institution in his hometown, where he was nursed. After the man’s death, doubts arose about the circumstances surrounding his death.
After investigation, it turned out to be an unnatural death, in which the arrested Ossenaar is said to have played a role. The deceased resident of Deurne and the man from Oss were known to each other.
The arrested 35-year-old man stood before the judge on Wednesday, who ruled that the Ossen resident will remain in custody for at least ninety days.
