Remains found in the Goyet cave in Namur show that Neanderthals ate their own women and children to survive in the era when Homo sapiens became increasingly dominant. Of the more than 101 bone remains found in the Namur cave, a third show traces of cannibalism. The Brussels Institute of Natural Sciences reported this on Wednesday.
