Magda Pozzo in Rome to receive the De Sanctis Sustainability Award for the Juventus stadium, considered the most innovative and inclusive: “We want to continue in this direction to make our stadium a sustainable laboratory of sport and major events at a European level”

Udinese arrived at Palazzo Chigi this afternoon. The reason? Definitely noble. In fact, the Juventus club received a prestigious award for the Bluenergy Stadium, recognized as an Italian excellence for sustainability, innovation and inclusiveness. This is the De Sanctis Sustainability Award, organized by the De Sanctis Foundation in collaboration with the Ministry of the Environment and Energy Security and with the patronage of the Presidency of the Council of Ministers.

“a pride for Udine”

In the presence of the Minister of the Environment and Energy Security Gilberto Pichetto Fratin, of the FIGC president Gabriele Gravina, Magda Pozzo received the award from the hands of Dino Zoff, deserved thanks to a project that has radically rethought the concept of the stadium, seen as a sustainable, innovative, inclusive and responsible space. In the motivation, the jury underlined the importance of the infrastructural components, above all the solar park built on the roof of the stadium, but also the cultural ones, with programs aimed at young people. The Blueenergy Stadium is therefore considered a model of community and sustainable progress. “Today is a historic day for us – underlines Magda Pozzo – we are aware of being a model for our 360-degree commitment to sustainability, but receiving the De Sanctis award at Palazzo Chigi for the Bluenergy Stadium makes us very happy. It gratifies us to be a source of pride for Udine, Friuli Venezia-Giulia and the whole of Italy. Now we want to continue in this direction to make our stadium a sustainable laboratory of sport and major events at a European level”.
