297 people checked during large-scale police action in Ghent: “It will certainly not be the last time we do this”

Under the watchful eye of Minister Quintin and the mayor, a first ‘FIPA action’ was held at various locations in the city of Ghent during the night from Friday to Saturday. Local and federal police worked together to carry out large-scale checks, including on commercial businesses and drugs. “We show the residents that we are there, but we also show the criminals that we are not going to put up with it.”
