JYP, the runner-up in the SM league, announced a significant extension contract on Thursday. Central striker Otto Mäkinen27, will continue with the club next season as well.
Mäkinen has been effective in the early season. He has scored a handsome 16 points in 18 games.
The high-quality two-way attacker has skippered the second top chain of his team.

– Mäkinen is a good two-way forward who has played an excellent early season. Mäksä’s development in JYP is striking and his playing has been on the rise, so we can expect Mäkinen to continue his development steps next season as well, JYP’s director of sports Simo Mälki said in the announcement.
Mäkinen is playing his second season in Jyväskylä. Before his transfer to JYP, he played four seasons in Jukurei.
