Serious allegations have been made against Konstantin Wecker. The now 78-year-old songwriter is said to have had a sexual relationship with a 16-year-old at the age of 63.

According to “SZ”, the woman met the musician in 2010 as a 15-year-old student after a concert. After she turned 16, there were several sexual encounters in hotel rooms between her and Wecker. The sexual relationship lasted from spring 2011 to summer 2012. According to her own statements, Alarm Clock and the woman wrote to each other almost every day – including messages of a sexual nature. They often spoke on the phone at night, where, according to the victim, Alarm Clock would often raise her voice and ask them to masturbate together.
Alarm clock: “Consensual” but “inappropriate”
Wecker confessed to the “SZ” through a lawyer that in his memory it was “a consensual relationship with the young woman”, which, however, “under moral standards, represented completely inappropriate behavior” on his part. “Spiegel” also reports this, citing “SZ”. Wecker therefore expressed his “deepest regret”. He claimed that he was “not in control of his senses” at the time because he allegedly drank a lot of alcohol.
The gaps in memory
His lawyer argued to the “SZ” that his client could no longer remember much due to his illness. Wecker is “very happy” that “he hasn’t been drinking alcohol for almost four years now, thanks in part to a self-help group.”
And Wecker now asks for forgiveness: “I would like to apologize to the woman concerned,” said Konstantin Wecker through his lawyer, as “Spiegel” states, citing “SZ”. “I would also like to apologize to my fans and followers that, once again, my music is not the only thing in my life.”
Legal gray area
The woman did not file a complaint, she told “SZ”. A lawyer explained to her that it was a legal gray area. According to “SZ”, Wecker himself also assumes that “he did not commit any criminal acts in his dealings with the woman concerned at the time”.
Severe trauma
The woman affected is still suffering from the consequences of the encounter with the alarm clock to this day. “SZ” states: “To this day she still can’t talk about sex with him without crying. She remembers it as very unpleasant.” She was permanently traumatized by Wecker. To this day she is in therapy for depression, among other things.
