Today Volandri’s Azzurri make their debut in the first match on the road to confirmation of the Salad bowl, and it is possible that the captain decides to rest the Roman. In case Volandri decides not to risk Berrettini to preserve him in the event of a semi-final, in his place as the first singles match against Jurij Rodionov, n.177 in the world rankings and left-handed (for this reason, in recent days in Bologna, Matteo trained with the young Italian prospect Vasamì) Lorenzo Sonego should play. Then it would be the turn of Flavio Cobolli, number 1 of the team, against world number 79 Filip Misolic.
