Renovation of the Binnenhof delayed again: bill rises to 2.7 billion euros

The renovation of the Binnenhof is again delayed. The project has been struggling behind the original schedule for some time and now the intended completion in 2028 is no longer feasible. The ministry is pushing back the end date to the summer of 2031. In the meantime, the costs are continuing to rise: the total bill is now estimated at 2.7 billion euros.
