Kok wins 500 meters in Salt Lake City in Dutch record: ‘Such a bite off, I didn’t expect that’

Femke Kok won the first 500 meters at the World Cup races in Salt Lake City in a Dutch record. The reigning world champion was faster with 36.48 than the American Olympic champion Erin Jackson (36.87) and the Japanese Yukino Yoshida (36.88). Kok remained 0.12 seconds above the world record.
