It may be because Turin is the city where he spent the most years in Europe, it may be because of the stormy farewell last January, but Danilo never misses an opportunity to reiterate his deep bond with Juventus. “It is certainly the most important club of my life, I have never hidden it. For everything I experienced there, for the club, the city and the history: Juventus is a family matter – he says in a long interview with Globo Exportin which he announces that 2026 will probably be his last year as a footballer -. Danilo then focuses on two figures in particular who marked his adventure in black and white. “Andrea Agnelli taught me a lot about how you can be a professional, live for your club, your company, with love, passion, dedication and feeling – admits the Brazilian defender -. An athlete who I consider my idol, however, is Buffon. When I arrived at Juventus, he was already in a different phase, he had gone to PSG and had returned, but he never stopped being himself. He was a great teacher. Every time I need a word, something about football, and I need to listen I listen to someone. I call him or he sends me an audio message.
