The Spinor is Lacoste through and through, with the undulating motion of the foam padding mimicking the movement of water around the iconic crocodile logo. The sneaker is a radical homage to the movement between worlds, references and eras.
The silhouette is based on a distinctive, lightweight foam midsole made with special “ADS” technology. “Absorption De Shock” technology was first used in Lacoste tennis shoes like the Repel in the 2000s. Foam is integrated into the heel of the midsole to provide cushioning. Now a new foam blend – a combination of polyolefin elastomer and Lacoste’s signature EVA blend – delivers an even softer and more responsive ride. ADS technology has a distinctive visual identity, reflected in visible logos on the heel and tongue as well as distinctive pods on the outsole.
The shoe also features an embossed mesh upper, a TPU film toe cap with reinforcement and a padded Lycra lining. Various reflective elements add extra shine, including laces, 3D studs on the heel and a printed crocodile on the toe cap as well as a welded TPU crocodile on the side. This sophisticated branding continues on the rubber shaft, which is also embossed with Lacoste’s signature crocodile.
This unique sneaker comes in two signature hues that combine a minimalist, futuristic look with timeless elegance: bold black and an elegant, spacey gray.
In keeping with its futuristic appeal, the Spinor is also available in a wider, bold and forward-thinking color palette, ranging from pastel sorbet colors to bold, bright tones. There is pistachio green, lilac, sky blue and bright orange. The sneaker also comes in a variety of color gradients that mimic the shoe’s wavy silhouette – orange fades into red, sky blue fades into navy blue, lilac fades into rich purple. Classic white and cream tones are also available.
