Tjitske is in the first year of secondary school. We eagerly await the results of her first test week, which the school will announce on Monday at 5 p.m. She has quite good grades, but a 5.4 for Dutch. Her father asks how that happened and, as far as Tjitske is concerned, goes on about it for a bit too long. “What are you having trouble doing? It just so happens to be the best failing grade you can get!”
