The 2025-26 season of Formula E has officially started with pre-season testing in Valencia and Cupra Kiro presents itself with some innovations and many ambitions. The team, born from a strategic collaboration between the Spanish brand Cupra and the American team Kiro Race Co, fields a young but promising lineup: the veteran Dan Ticktumfresh from a positive season, will be supported by the emerging Spanish talent Pepe Martímaking his debut in the category. This new combination represents the basis on which Cupra Kiro aims to consolidate its growth in the electric world championship.

Cupra Kiro has thus chosen to confirm Dan Ticktum, a British driver known for his aggressive driving style, who in the past season achieved historic goals for the team, including the first victory in Jakarta and the first pole position inlast stop in London. He was then joined by Pepe Martí, a twenty-year-old from Barcelona, fresh from a promising career in single-seaters, with important results in both Formula 2 and Formula 3, and supported by the management group led by Fernando Alonso. Martí is determined to make a quick apprenticeship in the electric category, becoming the fifth Spanish driver in the history of Formula E, and bringing enthusiasm and freshness to a team ready to aim high.

2024-25 was an important season for the Cupra Kiro team, also given the first success with the new name and with the Porsche powertrain 99X Electric in Wcg3 version. This continuity was rewarded with reconfirmation for the 2025-26 championship, demonstrating the reliability and effectiveness of the sporting project. The team now aims to enter the top five of the drivers’ classification and to push ever further forward in the team classification. With the scheduled departure scheduled for December 6 in Sao PauloBrazil, Martí is ready to face the new reality of Formula E, determined to learn and contribute to the team’s results straight away. The cars Gen4 have just been launched by Formula E and Fiabringing with it a technological revolution that will greatly change the landscape of the electric series. These new single-seaters, which will debut in 2026-27 seasonwill be characterized by greater power, more advanced batteries and higher level performance than current cars Gen3 Evo. With permanent all-wheel drive and active differential, you can exploit it in mode attack mode up to 600 kW, 815 HPin the acceleration phase. Furthermore, batteries with greater energy density will lead to a qualitative leap in terms of speed, energy management and spectacularity of the races.
