Drowning people in Maasplas appear to be copper thieves: “Ston cutters and a lot of copper on board”

The three Dutch drowning victims who got into trouble on Sunday night on the Maasplas in Kinrooi, Limburg, may have been stealing copper. An informed source shows that the boat was loaded with a roll of copper wire, which may have been too heavy. The two rescued drowning people have been arrested and will later be brought before the investigating judge. A third man drowned.
