The company will be a partner of the national teams until 2030. James Rothwell, Senior Vice President Marketing at Zalando: “Football and fashion have a long common history. We are happy to write the new chapter of this story”
Zalando today announced the start of a five-year collaboration with the Dfb, the German Football Association. The agreement will allow the Berlin company to become a partner of the German men’s, women’s and youth national teams until 2030. These are the words of Senior Vice President Marketing, James Rothwell: “Football and fashion have a long history in common and together play an important role in German culture. We are happy to become a key partner of the DFB and write the new chapter of this story. We hope to inspire a new generation of fans to find confidence in their own style both on and off the pitch.” Zalando will thus be able to exercise three exclusive activation and marketing rights. The company logo will be featured on all pre-match and training uniforms. Furthermore, significant visibility will be guaranteed on the stadiums’ LED scoreboards, cam carpets, branding on background advertising panels and a strong integrated presence on social media. Finally, Zalando will host a dedicated studio during the training camp for all major tournaments, creating exclusive behind-the-scenes content for its customers.
