Live performance by artists
Whisker:
The live performance of the artists in the program was a solution worthy of a hat-trick from the production side. Bringing them on stage in front of the audience gave the freestyle performances their own extra spice and added depth to the program. At the same time, the program offered smaller artists a wonderful stage in front of a large audience and the opportunity to get new listeners to their music.

Lake Puljujärvi:

Bringing new artists to the broadcast was a nice extra spice. Especially Goldielocks and Jaakko Kulta impressed with their performances. The assignment of the couples could have been even more specific, how they would get the artist to be part of the performance. Minna Kuukka and Mikko Ahti were almost the only couple who noticed Ellimin.
Minna and Mikko
Whisker:

They had clearly planned their freestyle performance carefully, and took the artist Ellimin in a beautiful and delicately executed way as part of the whole. In my opinion, this was a successful example of how the concept of an artist on the dance floor seen in this episode can be implemented at its best. As an icing on the cake, the entire trio was harmoniously dressed in the same style, which finished off the joint performance nicely.
Lake Puljujärvi:

I expected more from the duo’s freestyle performance. The choreography was reminiscent of a fairy tale dance, where the fence was the lowest. During the evening, Minna felt that she knew she was going home, so the performances were not the best.
Kristina and Sami
Whisker:

At the beginning of Kristiina and Sam’s performance, the image on the screen turned yellowish, as if it came from an old movie. After the dance started, the filter disappeared and the image returned to normal, but at the end the yellow tint returned, and the beautifully written word “The End” appeared on the screen. In my opinion, this was a great, small addition to the otherwise commendable performance of the duo and took the viewer even deeper into the atmosphere of the show.

Lake Puljujärvi:

Kristiina’s development curve was best seen tonight. The Viennese waltz was a key performance that brought out the couple’s delicate interpretation. One of the highlights of the evening was also the couple’s dance to the tune of Goldielocks. The performance conveyed joy and the old-time Hollywood atmosphere.
Paulus and Lisa
Whisker:

Paulus and Liisa’s rumba was a clear disappointment of the episode. It’s a pity in itself, because Paulus has developed wonderfully during the TTK season, episode by episode, but this dance turned out to be challenging for him. The tall man couldn’t get his hips into the movement, and a few steps went wrong in the show. However, the couple was saved by an impressive freestyle, for which they deservedly received 9 points from each judge. Paulus’ humble attitude after hearing the lower scores is also worth mentioning.
Lake Puljujärvi:

Paulus’s rumba was a little off at the beginning, but the athlete didn’t let the first dance affect him too much. The freestyle was significantly better and the soccer player was able to take control of the situation again. Paulus starts next week as an underdog, but his likeable attitude and rhythm can take him all the way to the finals.
Strike and Chestnut
Whisker:

Lakko and Kastanja did surprisingly poorly in Sunday night’s TTK episode, getting the lowest total scores of the episode with Minna and Miko. This came as a surprise, as the pair has been extremely successful during the season. It’s a shame, especially because the show was a tango, and I expected much more from them.
Lakko and Kastanja groped on the TTK parquet. Atte Kajova
Lake Puljujärvi:

A complete failure. From the beginning, Lakko and Kastanja have been the most potential pair that can take the entire competition. On Sunday evening, a really tired, uncertain and fumbling couple was seen on the parquet floor. At this point, it’s understandable that competition fatigue sets in, but next week the duo must be in top shape, because Paulus can very well take the third place in the final.
Judiciary
Whisker:

The judges seemed quite demanding at the beginning of the evening’s broadcast. Even May Day Pimi joked about the situation a couple of times, stating that “the judges have sand in their armpits”. Because of this, the atmosphere of the first episode was a bit discouraging.
Lake Puljujärvi:

The judges had the right attitude in the evaluations of the evening. Now we’re nearing the end, so you really shouldn’t give tens of lines just to keep everyone in a good mood. The program is still looking for the best dancer, so then the criteria must rise as well. The audience booing the judges in the studio is already getting so tired.
