Carlos Alcaraz replaces Jannik Sinner as global number 1
Carlos Alcaraz has regained first place in the world rankings from Jannik Sinner. The 22-year-old Spaniard ceded the position a week ago to his rival from Italy, who was two years older.

Sinner and Alcaraz did not play last week. The two are active this week at the ATP Finals in Turin. Sinner won the prestigious end-of-year tournament last year.
The points he earned for the world rankings were deducted on Monday. Alcaraz was already eliminated in the group stage last year.
