The young and aggressive Chinese manufacturer finally unveils its long-awaited faired three-cylinder, initially offered in three versions and already ready to race. Its eventual landing in Europe is still uncertain

As anticipated on the eve, ZXmoto took advantage of the Eicma 2025 showcase to launch the most ambitious model in its still short history. We’re talking about the new one 820RRa super sports car preceded by months of rumors and now finally revealed in all its splendor to the Milanese public. And the arrival of this bike is not just a new product, it is a real manifesto of intent on the part of ZXmoto, intending to compete immediately with the big manufacturers in terms of performance. And not just in words: in fact, this bike will debut in next year Supersport World Championship with the highly rated Italian team Evan Bros and very important drivers for this class, the Italian Federico Caricasulo and the French Valentin Debise.

Aesthetically, it is striking for its pointed front, for its silhouette compact and for the tapered tail, which together make up a motorbike with a discreet personality. There fairing it is clearly racing in style, with a large air intake in the center of the double LED headlight, aerodynamic wings and side slits. Already anticipated a few weeks at a trade fair event in China, the 820RR will initially be offered in three variationsall powered by the same three-cylinder engine from 819 cc developed internally. Its output values ​​vary depending on the version chosen, as do the components of the cycling with the exception of the frame and swingarm, both in aluminium. Despite the limelight of the Milanese show, the 820RR is still a work-in-progresswith the Chinese company still working on final specifications of the model. However, some reference data regarding the three planned versions have already been released.

the three variants

The basic version is simply called 820RR and will have it available 135 HP compared to a weight of 191kg in running order. Even in this standard configuration, the bike has a 6-axis IMU platform that grants the function cornering ABS and traction control, as well as the possibility of adjusting the steering angle. The second variant, called 820RR-Rsees its power rise to 145 HP and the weight drop to 186kg thanks to the carbon fiber fairing, the forged aluminum rims and the titanium silencer. It also features a 6.2″ TFT and an adjustable Kayaba fork. At the top of the range is the 820RR-RS that it should give 150 HP for a weight of 175kg and aspires to reach 300 km/h. To do this, it uses quality components which include an Akrapovic exhaust system, Öhlins suspension and Brembo calipers, as well as various elements made of ultra-light materials.

Will it arrive in Italy?

ZXmoto took the Eicma opportunity to present itself to the European public and confirm its imminent entry into the markets of the Old Continent. However, at least for the moment, they have not yet revealed the date of the actual arrival of the 820RR in our area. Nor, much less, sui prices of the three variants envisaged, assuming or not granting that all three will reach our shores. Furthermore, at its stand at Rho Fiera, the 820Rmotorcycle naked from the looks futuristic that shares the technical architecture of the 820RR without hiding it behind the fairings.
