The center of Peize will soon be further renovated. Next Monday, Noordenveld will probably agree to a budget of more than three million euros to, among other things, tackle flooding and renovate part of the center.

In phase two of the center development, the sewer will be tackled, maintenance will be carried out on various streets and greenery will be added. Marcel Gelissen of Dorpsbelang Peize is happy with the plans.

“Many of these things have been on the list for years, but have been pushed forward. That is understandable on the one hand, but we are especially happy that it is finally happening,” said Gelissen. He especially praises the systematic approach. Things are done at the same time, so the streets don’t have to open multiple times.

De Brink in Peize was tackled last year in phase 1. In the next phase, ‘Het Groene Hart van Peize’ and several other streets will be examined. Ultimately, this step of the project should be completed in 2027. This will be followed by phases three and four.
