US Vice President JD Vance and Erika Kirk, the widow of murdered right-wing activist Charlie Kirk, met on the stage of an event organized on the campus of the University of Mississippi.
Kirk currently heads the right-wing conservative organization Turning Point USA. Vance had been invited to speak at the organization’s event.
Kirk seemed moved when talking about his husband, and he didn’t spare any hyperbole towards JD Vance either.
– No one will ever replace my husband, Kirk said, but added that he saw some similarities between Charlie Kirk and Vance.
– That’s why I’m so lucky to be able to introduce him tonight, Kirk said.
