Ex-boss of French intelligence service in court after millions disappeared from secret fund during investment in luxury company

France’s foreign intelligence service DGSE has lost millions of euros after money from a secret fund was invested in an ailing luxury group. That fund was originally intended for use in the event of a foreign invasion. The agency’s former chief, Bernard Bajolet, is now on trial, accused of complicity in racketeering.
