Paramilitaries in Sudan agree to humanitarian truce, still waiting for response from Sudanese army

The paramilitary forces that have been fighting the national army in Sudan for more than a year and a half agreed to a humanitarian truce on Thursday. Their leadership announced this in a statement. The Sudanese Army (SAF), led by General Abdel Fattah al-Burhan, has not yet announced whether it will sign that proposal.
