18.8 degrees in November: that not only sounds historically warm, it is. A date record was measured in several places in Brabant on Wednesday. November 5 has never been so mild.

“It was more than 18 degrees this Wednesday, with very soft air,” says meteorologist Raymond Klaassen on Wednesday evening in the radio program Afslag Zuid. The record is in Woensdrecht, where it was 18.8 degrees. “We’ve just set another date record,” he says. This is already the ninth date record of this year in the Netherlands.

The next few days
Those mild temperatures will continue for a while. “Tomorrow it will be a beautiful day again, but a little less mild,” says Klaassen. “It will be 15 to 17 degrees. A great day to go outside again.” This also applies to Friday. Only in the weekend will it become a bit grayer again.

It does remain dry. We can count on temperatures between 11 and 14 degrees.
