Renze Klamer has taken his Instagram offline because he was really serving the gossip press with his public photo diary. “It affects his authority as a journalist,” he said.

36-year-old Renze Klamer keeps the gossip media busy. He posted a photo with a young chick with whom he has started a relationship. It turns out to be 22-year-old student Hannah Ebbing, who was only twelve years old when Renze’s first child was born. A midlife crisis is therefore not ruled out by the entertainment press.

Ex-free range

Renze’s snapshot with Hannah, however, has even more consequences, because that girl also turns out to be Dennis Schouten’s ex-dating and the Gossip Talk star talks in detail in the Story about why he broke up with her. Long story short: according to him, she has strong controlling behavior. “She also noticed that I didn’t like it.”

In any case: if you want to be taken seriously as a talk show host, it obviously doesn’t help that you give the presenter of RoddelPraat fodder to talk about your new girlfriend in the gossip magazines.

Insta gone

Now Renze has taken his Instagram page offline and that is no coincidence, according to media critic Victor Vlam. “Renze Klamer has deactivated his Instagram after a photo on it sparked speculation about a new girlfriend,” he writes. X.

The media critic continues: “He is clearly disappointed by the commotion. And that is right because it is bad publicity. It affects his authority as a journalist.”

Gossip magazines

Victor finds Renze clumsy. “It is of course completely up to him to do what he wants with his love life. But it is a bit awkward to feed the tabloids with a post on Instagram.”

Marieke Derksen, Johan Derksen’s daughter, then said: “I sincerely feel sorry for him. But if you present a gossip column, RTL Tonight, announced with much fanfare, this is what you get. Not nice. He deserves more.”

Victor: “Definitely. It’s pretty sad for him!”

No judgement

A certain Huub does not understand Victor’s comment. “Why wouldn’t you, as a presenter, like a new (?) girlfriend? Why would that damage your reputation?”

Victor: “I have no judgment whatsoever about his love life. He has to know all that himself. I analyze the media dynamics. He (perhaps unintentionally) helped his own love life into the tabloids. And that was clumsy.”

‘It’s distracting’

Huub then points to Jeroen Pauw and his private outpourings. “How would that affect his credibility? A certain Jeroen Pauw is the great talk show gentleman of the Netherlands and he also has a remarkable love life?”

Victor: “That’s right. And he also regretted that comment about 200 women later, I remember.”

Huub: “But that has not affected his credibility in any way. That only lives in your head.”

Victor concludes: “Most journalistic faces try to stay out of the magazines. It just distracts from the content.”
