The fiancée of skater Jutta Leerdam lets us know in no uncertain terms what he thinks of Davis as a person through organizer MostVpromotions. “He is literally a walking piece of trash. Working with him is a complete nightmare. His lack of professionalism, his bizarre demands, being hours late for recordings. And then there are countless arrests, charges and lawsuits. If you support this man, you are supporting the most despicable sin a human being can commit.”
Jake Paul announces new fight: ‘First I’m going to beat David, then I’m going to beat Goliath’
The decision comes days after Davis was accused in a civil lawsuit by his ex-girlfriend Courtney Rossel of aggravated assault, unlawful restraint, kidnapping and intentional infliction of emotional distress.
Advocate for women
The fight has now been called off after the latest in a long list of legal issues for Davis. In August, a domestic violence case filed against Davis by the mother of two of his three children was dismissed. He has had numerous run-ins with the law over the years, including domestic violence charges and fleeing the scene of a car accident. Several of his cases have been dismissed, but he was sentenced to 90 days of house arrest and a three-year suspended sentence for a 2023 hit-and-run in Baltimore.
“Our team has worked closely with all parties involved to handle this situation responsibly,” MVP CEO Nakisa Bidarian told ESPN. “While we will not be moving forward with this event, our plan remains for Jake Paul to star in an event on Netflix in 2025.”
Paul continues on X: “I didn’t want to give this wife abuser a platform to grow his fan base and his bank account. My company is a champion for women. It is terrifying that devilish men like these can rise to the pinnacle of culture and sport—even to positions of power.”
