At least one person was taken to a hospital on Monday evening after an accident in Oss. The victim was in one of the two cars that collided at the intersection of Nieuwe Heescheweg and Julianasingel around seven o’clock. That was at the Shell gas station.
As a precaution, the passenger was taken to a hospital for an ECG.
One of the two cars was hit in the side during the collision. The impact caused the airbags in one of the cars to go off. This vehicle had to be removed by a salvage company. The other car could be taken to a car damage shop by the driver himself.
Some parts of the intersection were closed due to the accident. Police were present to direct traffic until the road could be reopened.
