West Flanders has 225 restaurants with a rating in the Gault&Millau restaurant guide. And Knokke-heist already takes the cake quantitatively with 40 restaurants in the guide. That is two more than Bruges (38 restaurants in the guide).

After Antwerp and Ghent, Knokke-Heist now ranks third in Flanders in terms of the number of mentions, and in relation to the number of inhabitants, our municipality even has most of the country. That proves that quality is really at its best.”
