Finnish fashion made its way to Australia.

Finnish Marimekko got into the limelight far away from home yesterday Sunday. Former member of the Spice Girls Mel C got into Finnish fashion in the finals of The Voice Australia singing competition. Mel C served as one of the star judges of the show. In Finland, the same program format goes by the name Voice of Finland.
The star once known as Sporty Spice wore Marimekko’s Vire-patterned Heitto shirt. The shirt is part of Marimekko’s spring collection this year. In the new fall collection, the shirt is available in Basso designs, among others. The pattern was designed by Vire Fujiwo Ishimoto in 1997.
