The transfer market database in Southwest Asia has become a bit more extensive again. The UAE President’s Cup 2021/22 is now fully updated. Sharjah FC celebrated their ninth cup win after the Sharjah club beat Al-Wahda 1-0 in the final. The match winner was former Dortmund player Paco Alcácer with his goal in the 52nd minute.
The tournament’s top scorer was Diogo Acosta with eight goals. The Brazilian only needed four games for this while working for Dibba SCC. In the first duel he scored a four-pack. Also worth mentioning is the former 75-time Ukrainian national player and current coach of his home country, Sergiy Rebrov, who with Al-Ain FC already failed in the quarter-finals against Al-Wasl FC. He was on the sidelines for Al-Ain for a total of 73 games.
