The first hurdle on the road to Olympic glory has been gloriously overcome by a large part of the established hurdle. Jenning de Boo, Joep Wennemars, Kjeld Nuis, Femke Kok, Marijke Groenewoud, Merel Conijn, Marcel Bosker and Jorrit Bergsma had a dream start to what should be a historic skating year for them with excellent performances.
