The Cure could break their own record in 2026 – but it still needs a few more dates. There are currently 22 live shows planned. Just three more and the band will once again outdo themselves.
More and more live shows are being added
In addition to festivals such as “Rock En Seine” and “Nova Rock”, Robert Smith and Band 2026 will perform at the Spanish Primavera Festival, among others. The other line-up for the Barcelona festival includes Doja Cat, The xx, Gorillaz and Massive Attack. In addition, concerts and headlining performances are planned in many other cities across Europe.

The bits and pieces of live information published are very reminiscent of 2019. Back then, the Brits were headliners at the Exit Festival in Serbia, Firenze Rocks (Italy), INmusic Festival (Croatia), Hurricane/Southside, Glastonbury (England), Roskilde Festival (Denmark), Rock En Seine (France), Austin City Limits, Pasadena Daydream (both USA), Flow Festival (Finland), Oyafestivalen (Norway), Picnic Afisha (Russia), Fuji Rock (Japan), Paleo Festival (Switzerland), Rock the City (Romania), Colors of Ostrava (Czech Republic), Ejekt Festival (Greece), Mad Cool (Spain), NOS Alive (Portugal), Werchter (Belgium), Pinkpop (Netherlands), Malahide (Ireland) and Vivid Live (Australia). That makes a total of 24 headlining shows.
Is there perhaps more to come?
There is still some time until the festival summer of 2026. Robert Smith actually wanted to have the successor to “Songs of a Lost World” from autumn 2024 published long ago. However, people at The Cure are now used to waiting. The album was finally released after a 16-year studio break.
The Cure live in Berlin
Due to popular demand, The Cure have announced a third concert for Berlin 2026. Robert Smith and colleagues will now perform not only on July 10th and 11th, 2026 at the Parkbühne Wuhlheide, but also on July 12th, 2026. The band is thus responding to the great demand for tickets.
