During the weekly episode of The Kardashians Kim wondered out loud on Thursday whether a landing on the moon really took place in 1969. In the scene, she read an article to her co-star Sarah Paulson, with whom she is on set for the upcoming series All’s Fair.

“I’m constantly working on conspiracy theories. I think it was fake,” the Skims founder later says to the camera. “I’ve seen a few videos where Buzz Aldrin claims it didn’t happen. He says it all the time in interviews now. Maybe we should look him up,” she adds.

Invitation

Just a few hours after the broadcast on Hulu, NASA director Sean Duffy took to his keyboard to debunk Kardashian’s conspiracy theory. “Yes, we’ve been to the moon before… six times!” he writes on

“Wait, what’s the tea on 3I Atlas?!??????????” Kardashian takes the moment to learn more about the interstellar comet 3I/ATLAS. Duffy provides explanations and adds that he finds Kim K.’s enthusiasm about the Artemis mission to the moon “great.”

Kardashian has been invited to the upcoming Artemis launch at the Kennedy Space Center.

It is not yet clear whether she will accept that invitation.
